Product Classification

Graphite products are often used in daily life and the chemical industry, but do you know what kind of graphite these carbon graphite products are made of?

First of all, it can be divided into natural graphite and artificial graphite.

  • According to the different crystalline morphology of natural graphite, it can be divided into three categories: dense crystalline graphite, flake graphite and cryptocrystalline graphite.

Dense crystalline graphite: the crystal arrangement is disordered, but the crystal is obvious, visible to the naked eye.

Flake graphite: it is made by extrusion modification, with high commercial value and strong plasticity.

Aphanitic graphite: crystal can only be seen under the microscope, the surface is earthy, mostly used in the foundry industry.

  • Artificial graphite is obtained by high-temperature treatment of organic carbonization and graphitization. According to their different molding methods, it is generally divided into three categories: extruded graphite, high purity molded graphite and isostatic press graphite.

Extruded graphite: mostly used as electrode material.

Molded graphite: higher requirements for graphite products, used in the manufacture of graphite mold.

Isostatic press graphite: high density, high purity, high strength three high graphite.
